Meet the Team

Kevin Falde founded Parakaleo International in 2011.  He is currently a full-time missionary with BBFI and lives with his wife Emelie in Cayes Jacmel, Haiti.  

Kevin serves as Parakaleo International's field agent in Haiti and the Dominican Republic and overseas all in-country projects.  He is passionate about church planting and evangelism and faithfully uses his gifts, knowledge and experience to encourage suffering believers and further God's kingdom.

Brian has been a dentist for over 25 years in Rapid City, SD.  His first dental missions trip was to Guatemala with his family.  It was there that he was exposed to the tremendous oral health needs which exist in our world.  Brian took his first missions trip to Haiti with two of his children and other students from Rapid City Christian School.  Since then, he has had the blessing of accompanying all three of his children to Haiti throughout their high school years.  Brian has continued to accompany the students of RCCS to the Dominican Republic and loves watching them develop a heart for serving others in the mission field.  When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family being outdoors in the beautiful Black Hills and reading.  Brian says, "It amazes me how many people we are able to bless and minister to in Haiti and the DR through the generous support provided to Parakaleo International. To God be the glory!"

Hannah Costello helped found Parakaleo International with Kevin Falde in 2011 after going on a short-term survey trip to Haiti.  As a registered nurse, Hannah is burdened with the physical needs of the people of Haiti and is passionate about bringing high-quality and accessible care to those in need.  From 2011-2021, Hannah served as a project coordinator for all short-term medical trips to Haiti.  She now lives in Maine with her husband and serves as Parakaleo International's Executive VP.

Ken lives in Hamilton, Ohio with his wife Mallory.  He received his degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida and now works as the Building Official for the city of Hamilton.  Ken serves as a trustee for his home church - Lindenwald Baptist Church and is now the treasurer for the board of directors for Parakaleo International.  The board values his business acumen and expertise in building/construction.  He and his wife have two sons and three wonderful grandchildren.

Moriah Falde developed a love for the Haitian people and a passion for missions at an early age.  As a teenager, she began working and serving along with her family, on Parakaleo International's medical and evangelism teams.  Moriah is a registered nurse and has completed a master's degree in Healthcare Administration in order to better understand the operational needs of the current medical projects.  Moriah is new to her position, but we are so excited to have her passion and exceptional work ethic serving in this capacity.  

Kurt Falde, along with his brother Kevin, grew up in Haiti.  He has a strong understanding of the people and the culture.  Kurt is passionate about fiscal responsibility within missions.  He currently works for Microsoft as a cybersecurity specialist director and serves on the board of directors for Parakaleo International.  

Parakaleo International has been involved in several education-based projects in the past and we are continuing to discover new ways of using education to train and equip the next generation of believers. 

Jennifer has worked in education for the past 20 years and has a passion for Christian education and the young people it serves.  She has led several teams of high school students to both the DR and Haiti with Parakaleo International and been involved in teacher-training seminars and other school projects.  Jennifer strongly believes that when teachers have the right training and resources, they can open up the world of opportunity for their students. We are looking forward to the prospect of new education projects and are excited to have Jennifer leading this division. 

Jennifer Morgan has been a long-time supporter of Parakaleo International and the people and projects that the organization supports.  As our newest board member, she brings her sense of compassion and organizational skills to the board member team. 

Jennifer is a registered nurse with a passion for providing for both the physical and spiritual needs of hurting people. 

Currently, she enjoys homeschooling her four children, working in her local church, and organizing a successful homeschool co-op.  

Although Micah recently came on board with Parakaleo International as our Chief Information Security Officer, he has been heavily involved with Parakaleo International's projects for years.  Micah has helped assist in several building projects, humanitarian relief projects and Medical clinics over the last ten years.  Micah has a passion for putting his faith into action by using his gifts and talents to further God's Kingdom and provide help to the helpless.  He now lives in Ohio with his wife Hannah and assists Parakaleo International with IT and cybersecurity concerns.
